Parish President Ernest Freyou announces that Iberia Parish Government will have sand bags available, today, July 23, 2010, until 6:00 p.m. at the Parish Barn which is located at 5013 Avery Island Road. Sand bags will also be available at the Parish Barn on Saturday, July 24, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. If you have any questions, please contact the Public Works Department at 364-8474.

St. Landry Blue Roof

St. Landry Parish has been added to the "Operation Blue Roof" program and residents who sustained roof damage from Hurricane Gustav are urged to call 1-888-766-3258 for more information.

The collection center set-up in Opelousas will continue to be open until further notice. The location of the collection center is the Public Services Building at 1065 Hwy 749 and will be open from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
